Manny 'PacMan' Pacquiao: Greatest Of All Time
Now that the Philippine political season is drawing to a close, we would like to congratulate Congressman Manny Pacquiao for being elected to the Philippine Congress as the sole representative of Sarangani province. We wish Manny much success as he embarks on a new career in politics.
Now in order to bring the focus back to Manny's achievements within the boxing ring, WIP Caps is releasing a long overdue design that commemorates the Champ's milestone achievement of attaining 7 World Boxing titles in 7 different weight class. From the flyweight division to welterweight, Manny Pacquiao faced and conquered the best in Marco Antonio Barrera (twice), Erik Morales (thrice), Ricky Hatton, Oscar De La Hoya, and Juan Manuel Marquez (twice). When Manny knocked out the great welterweight champ, Miguel Cotto, on November 14, 2009, there was no doubt that Manny established himself as arguably the greatest boxer of all time.
The phenomenal success story of a dirt-poor street kid who once sold cigarettes on the streets of Manila and transformed himself into a legend is a real life Rocky Balboa story. The fact that Manny has remained humble with all his success shows that he is a rare athlete in a sports era full of egocentric athletes. When Manny fights, he stops wars, brings crime rates down to zero, and holds an entire island nation to a standstill. When he does not fight, Manny helps the poor and shares his wealth, especially with the poor part of the Philippines that he never left behind. Outside the ring, you could argue that Manny Pacquiao, now a Congressman, is just as influential as Muhammad Ali.

With that bit of news and the looming possibility of a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight in November, we are proud to introduce the 7th installment of our tribute cap to the 7 world title holder.
